Article: Myeloma TV's Campaigning Channel
In the Autumn of last year we were invited by Myeloma UK to participate in the making of a short film for their Myeloma TV’s Campaigning Channel.
We, together with Siobhan Burke and Anne and Eric Rutherford talk about campaigning for Velcade, both at a local level and nationally. The Channel aims to look at issues surrounding what motivates campaigners and what activities they have undertaken in order to get their message across. We shared our stories of what inspired us to start campaigning and what makes us continue.
Myeloma UK Stated “Without the sheer determination of Siobhan, the Rutherfords, The Velcade Three, and countless others in the myeloma community, we would not have had the success that we did with Velcade”.
