Article: Myeloma UK 10th Anniversary Reception
Jacky and Janice attended the Myeloma UK 10th anniversary reception which was held at the Royal College of Physicians, Regents Park, London on 7th November.
The patron for Myeloma UK, Maureen Lipman was present. She mingled with the crowd and gave a small speach.
It was really good to see fellow Myeloma sufferers and their Carers enjoying the celebration together. It also gave us the opportunity to meet up and spend time with many of the guests who all expressed an interest in our website and thanked and congratulated us on our campaign for Velcade.
We were pleased to take up Myeloma UK's invitation to place a message on a plasma screen being shown in the room.
The short message links us to the work of Myeloma UK and makes a statement of what our vocational work is about.
