Article: Meeting with Sir Michael Rawlings, Chairman of NICE

Following our request to NICE we were pleased to be offered a meeting with Sir Michael Rawlings, chairman of NICE, which the three of us attended in Manchester on 24th January 2008. We were able to express our concerns regarding the ruling of Velcade and surrounding issues about it only being available at first relapse.

We came away from the meeting feeling that we had had an amiable and beneficial discussion. The minutes of the meeting are being typed up by Mike Rawlings PA, and will be displayed on our website as soon as we receive them. Please e-mail us with any questions.
